MountainView Lady Putters

The MountainView Lady Putters was formed in 1998 by Lou Ann Garvin.  She gathered 33 interested ladies.  After much negotiation with the Golf Pro of MountainView in Feb 1998 the MountainView Ladies putted their first round.  Our group is dedicated to fun and enjoyment not competition. Our charter members are: Lou Ann Garvin, Founder, Bev Weiher, Vi Kaim, Jean Sebert, Joan Holmes, Bev Burns, Carolyn Schrader, Mary Sevigny, Leona Peters, Laura Eckel, Marge Gwinn, Ans Christiansen, Sally Wragg, Marie Winkelman, Judy Kany, Barbara Busacker, Olga Rush, Lilly Kruger, Julie Niendorf, Dolly Pettet, Patsy Partridge, Mary Tomann, Betty Balthrop, Roberta Spector, Janet Fox, Betty Gebers, Greta Fritsch, Darlene Pitman, Solvieg Nelson, Lois Corbett, Shiela Wangerin, Joan Evans, Diane Steele, and Joan Kwaitkowski.  We have grown from those33 ladies

to our present number of over 200 putters.             Active Charter Members with Founder,  Lou Ann Garvin

In the summer, announcements begin at 7:30 a.m. and at 9:00 a.m.  In the winter, announcements begin at 8:45 a.m. and at 10:15 a.m.  Play will begin immediately following the announcements.  There is no putting in the fall while the golf course is closed for over seeding.  We meet Monday mornings on the Mesquite Grill Patio and putt on the green nearest the Pro Shop.  Whenever possible, carpool with a friend, as parking space is limited.

Yearly we have many combined events with other golf groups, i.e. Quail Creek Lady Putters of Green Valley, the MountainView Lady Niners and the SaddleBrooke Verde Sputters.  We also have activities that include our other halfs.

To become a part of this organization you must live in SaddleBrooke and pay the yearly membership dues of $67.00.
