MountainView Ladies
Putters
The MountainView Ladies was formed in 1998 by LouAnn Garvin. She
gathered 28 interested ladies. After much
negotiation with the
Golf Pro of MountainView in Feb 1998 the MountainView Ladies putted
their first round. Our group is dedicated to fun and enjoyment not
competition. We have grown from those 28 ladies to our present 153
putters.
In the
summer, announcements begin at 8:15 a.m. In the winter, announcements
begin at 9:15 a.m.; depending on the number of Putters, a second time
could be added at 10:15 a.m. Play will begin immediately following
the announcements. There is no putting in the fall while the golf
course is closed for overseeding. We meet Monday mornings on the
Mesquite Grill Patio and putt on the green nearest the Pro Shop.
Whenever possible, carpool with a friend, as parking space is limited.
Yearly we
have many combined events with other golf groups, like Quail Creek Lady Putters
of Green Valley, the Lady Niners
and the SaddleBrooke Sputters of SaddleBrooke. We also have
activities that include our other halfs.
To become a part of this
organization you must live in SaddleBrooke and pay the yearly membership dues
of $67.00.
