Chip Starter |
|
Starters will arrive at least 30 minutes prior to our Tee Times. They
are responsible to be sure each putter draws a hole assignment chip. As
a chip is drawn it is not returned to the bag until each hole has one
putter then the numbers are returned to the bag to be choosen again.
This proceedure in repeated as many times as necessary This assures an
equal number of putters on each hole. The first putter who draws the
hole number is given the board and score sheet for that hole. |

This position shall be held for two months by four putters. The months
will be staggered so that there is always an experienced Starter
present. Two putters have the early putting session and two putters have
the late session. |

Luncheon Decorations Committee |

This Committee will provide the table centerpieces and decorations
needed for the monthly luncheons |

The committee should use existing decorations whenever possible. (Check
with Helen McKinney, Catering Manager, 825-7382 , at MountainView
Country Club for use of decorations stored at the club.) Expenses are
limited to a maximum of $50.00 per luncheon if needed. Receipts for
purchases are to be turned into the Treasurer for reimbursement. |

Publicity Committee |
|
The committee will select their chairperson. The committee will collect
information regarding current and future events and write articles to be
submitted monthly to the two SaddleBrooke newspapers, "SaddleBag Notes"
and "SaddleBrooke Progress". Committee members will be responsible to
proof-read all articles for accuracy. Pictures will be furnished by
Emily Anderson. When she has the pictures ready they will be sent via
email or picked up in the basket in her entry way. The monthly deadline
for the "SaddleBag Notes" is the 13th and the "SaddleBrooke Progress" is
the 25th. Please refer to the detailed information concerning how to
submit articles which is printed in each of the papers. |

Special Monday Decorating Committee |
|
This committee is responsible to plan, execute and take down decorations
for the course only for six Special Mondays. The Special Mondays are
Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween and
Christmas. See our annual calendar for specific dates. |

This committee has no responsibility for Luncheon decorations even if a
Luncheon falls on the Special Monday date. |
|
There are many seasonal decoration available but a maximum of $25.00 may
be spent if needed. |
|
This committee should coordinate with both the Course Set Up Committee
and the Luncheon Decoration Committee |

Sunshine Committee |
|
The committee will select their chairperson. When notified of an
illness or death within the membership, the committee will take
appropriate action. Meals will be sent to members who are (or whose
spouses are) seriously ill or have had surgery. These meals are
available from Eva Harris who lives in SaddleBrooke. A member of the
committee should contact her, and Eva will contact the ill member with
menu selections and deliver the meals to the member's home. |
|
One member of the committee will be the Card Maker and create
computerized Get-Well, Thinking of You, and Sympathy cards. (These may
be personalized and/or golf related.) One member of the committee will
be responsible to arrive at Putters early and sit at a separate table to
have the card(s) available for Putters to sign. |
|
One member will do a telephone follow up with the ill Putter and report
the progress of the ill member to the membership on Monday mornings. |
|
