Putters for the Cure

Our own Survivors!!!
On Monday, March 8th, the MountainView Ladies Putters held their first ever "Putters for The Cure" Event. Due to inclement weather, morning putting was cancelled. Not to be daunted in their fundraising efforts, the Putters started the festivities at 11:00 AM at MountainView Clubhouse with a capacity crowd of 133 Putters. Over 30 baskets and artwork donated by the Putters Membership were on display and tickets were purchased for a raffle of the items. Club President Kim Halper welcomed the attendees at Noon with a tribute to our own Breast Cancer Survivors. The Sponsors of the event were also recognized at this time and were thanked for their generosity. A wonderful Buffet luncheon of Roast Carved Turkey Breast followed with the winners of the Raffle Baskets being drawn throughout the afternoon. Overall, the event was a resounding success with $4,000.00 being raised for the benefit of Breast Cancer research. You can see all the effort and love put into this event in the pictures below.
